I was born in Derby.

Why did you choose to volunteer at Borderline Arts?
BPD has hugely impacted my life, and creativity has been an integral part of my recovery. What Borderline Arts do is so needed, and I’m grateful to be able to play a part in this amazing organisation bringing the healing powers of the imagination to life!

What is your role in Borderline Arts?
I facilitate creative writing workshops where we use the written word to have fun, vision our strengths, and unleash our imaginations to create joyful worlds of healing.

What is your occupation outside Borderline Arts?
Creative director of Staywell Derby C.I.C, the Lived Experience Led Recovery Hub for Derby City. Come visit us some time, we have a lovely café.

I started in early 2020.

What is your favourite colour?
Greens, purples, and always black.

What’s one of your favourite places in the world?
Nine Ladies Stone Circle, Stanton Moor, in the Peak District.

I used to be terrified of mould, but I conquered that fear!

I play saxophone badly and enjoy it very much.
