Our Artathon was a Success!

The Results of our Art-a-thon! On Saturday night, nine artists stayed up all night (literally) to create art for nine hours straight. All the artists had been sponsored to do so, by very generous folk. We would like to say a huge thank you to all those who donated. We raised an impressive £1613.59! This money will massively help us to continue our work of raising awareness and reducing the stigma surrounding Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD).

Saturday night was about so much more than raising money or making art. It created a sense of unity and strength between a group of us who all struggle with the same condition. It enhanced relationships, made us feel part of a team - we felt accepted and understood. We felt supported by those who donated and by those who got involved despite not living with BPD. We felt validated - and that is a VITAL aspect in our recovery.

All that to say, a HUGE thank you again to all those who donated and we hope to see some of you at our Art Auction on 15th November! (More details to follow shortly!)
