Little Ed Festival

'Little Ed - Free Fringe Festival' is a brand new comedy and variety festival for Derby for 2018, bringing a taste of the Edinburgh Fringe to venues across the Cathedral Quarter.

Organised by Furthest from the Sea Music, Comedy & Arts, the festival aims to promote positive mental health and wellbeing, social inclusion and to bring the more unexpected and unconventional performers to Derby for the first time as well as offering a platform for new and emerging East Midlands based artists.

As part of this event, Amanda Solloway (director of Head High - a local mental health charity) gathered several organisations together (including Borderline Arts) to hold stalls offering food and activities on Saturday 21st April.

We had a great time being part of this, hosting a stall beneath the Guildhall Arches, amongst the St Georges parade, other stalls and entertainment.

We gave out Alice in Wonderland themed cakes, colouring in and had a Wonderland photo booth! We also had information about Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and chatted with people who wanted to know more. As well as sharing with people about BPD, it was great to bring joy, creativity and cake to many passers-by! And we had a lot of fun in the dressing up box!

Thanks to Amanda and Head High for involving us in this event!
