Website Administrator
The Website Administrator will:
Build up a bank of articles to be published
You will work with our team of volunteer writers to ensure that there are plenty of articles in line to be uploaded by asking people to write articles approximately 4-6 weeks in advance. You may also write articles if you wish.
Prepare/edit articles for the site
You will edit articles and prepare them to be uploaded. This will involve proof-reading/re-wording where necessary and finding an image to go with the site.
Upload articles to the website
You will upload the article to the ‘articles’ page on our website, and tweet the link onto our social media sites.
Keep the website current
Ensure that information that is no longer relevant is taken down, and that any new information/dates/staff profiles etc are uploaded.
Increase SEO ranking
Set Your Organic Search Baseline, Research Keywords and Relevant Search Queries, Publish Optimised Content, Analyse Your Backlinks, Explore Technical Issues etc.
Send emails via Wix
You will create and send out a monthly email via our Wix Mailing list. Each month, this email will have a short update about what we are up to at Borderline (see above), along with an explanation and link to any relevant articles on our website.
Improve the website
If you have any ideas to add new ideas to the website, run them past Sarah. We welcome suggestions and it is most likely that we can put them in place!
Attend Borderline Arts meetings
You will attend staff meetings as required. These are not regular and are usually very informal and often done via Zoom.
