Darkest Hour
By Tracey Robertson
It’s always the darkest before the dawn
Where for the morning we grieve and mourn.
If 60 minutes is the darkest hour
You will bloom again, just like a flower.
Do not be scared, do not be afraid
Others have been where you have laid.
Down in the depths of the deepest despair
If you can’t see the lift, take the stair.
Take time to heal and sleep and rest
It’s good enough if you try your best.
Don’t give up and don’t give in
Don’t let the demons inside you win.
You have the strength, you possess the power
Just 60 minutes is your darkest hour.
